Hospitality students embark on educational tour to Safari Valley Resort

As part of its practical and industry-focused approach to education, Marshalls University College organised an academic excursion for Hospitality students to Safari Valley Resort on 27 May 2026.

Five Hospitality students and two lecturers took part in the experience, observing professional guest reception, customer service, security procedures and upselling techniques. The tour also exposed students to tourism attractions, wildlife conservation and resort operations.

Students explored the resort’s art gallery, Eco Park, bird sanctuary, zebra enclosure and other wildlife areas. They also experienced recreational and leisure activities and gained practical insight into food-and-beverage operations, service standards and inventory management.

The excursion further highlighted environmental sustainability and community engagement. Marshalls described the experience as another example of its commitment to preparing confident, competent and industry-ready hospitality and tourism professionals.
