Dr. Tetteh Nettey, Founder and President of Marshalls University College, was appointed to the Executive Committee of the Private Universities Founders Association of Ghana (PUFA-GH) at the association’s first Annual General Meeting on 22 May 2025.
The appointment places Marshalls within an eleven-member leadership team working to strengthen the collective voice of private universities in Ghana. The association has been engaging regulators, government and parliamentary stakeholders on issues affecting private tertiary education.
The university described Dr. Nettey’s elevation as both recognition of his contribution to private higher education and an opportunity to increase Marshalls’ participation in national conversations on policy, institutional development and educational sovereignty.
Marshalls expressed appreciation to Rev. Prof. Emmanuel Kingsley Larbi for the nomination and reaffirmed its commitment to collaboration, innovation and the development of private universities as meaningful contributors to national development.
