Marshalls University College, together with members of the Private Universities Founders Association, engaged the President of Ghana on proposed reforms to the regulatory framework governing private university colleges.
The publication explains that the engagement addressed the Presidential Charter requirement for established university colleges and PUFA’s position that the requirement should be optional for institutions that have demonstrated long-term compliance, stability and academic credibility.
The report highlights Marshalls’ stated compliance with the existing charter process and its broader interest in creating a regulatory environment that supports quality tertiary education and institutional development.
The publication forms part of Marshalls’ record of public policy engagement around private higher education in Ghana.
