Marshalls University College participated in the Ghana Police Service Passing-Out Ceremony for junior recruits at the National Police Training School in Tesano, Accra, on 4 July 2025. The ceremony marked the graduation of more than 1,100 newly trained officers, including more than 600 female recruits.
The university’s participation was framed as part of its support for national development through lifelong learning and higher education. The story also highlights the achievement of PW/SGT. Sophia Elikplim Dedjoe, who received both the Best Under-Cadet Academics and National Best Female Recruit awards.
Marshalls described itself as an academic partner for professionals in security and law enforcement, pointing to flexible career-aligned programmes in security, intelligence, public administration, strategic leadership and related fields.
The story positions the partnership as part of a wider effort to strengthen the intellectual and leadership foundations of Ghana’s security sector while giving serving professionals opportunities to pursue further education.
