  • MANPOWER JSC & S.R.L. RECRUITS FROM MARSHALLS FASHION SCHOOL

Marshalls Fashion School recently played host to Manpower JSC from Vietnam and Manpower S.R.L. from Romania, both leaders in international recruitment. These sister companies, known for their expertise in Asian recruitment, aim to secure top-tier talent for their expanding fashion houses.

The representatives, Thanh Dinh Rose, Executive Secretary from Vietnam, and Suresh Pathak (also known as Guru), Vice Director from Romania, visited Marshalls Fashion School to recruit skilled fashion craftsmen and women. The recruitment process included a live Competence-Based Testing (CBT) session, with some members of the interviewing team physically present in Marshalls Fashion Studios here in Accra, Ghana and others joining online from Romania.

Competence-Based Testing (CBT) is a core element of Marshalls Fashion School’s curriculum. The school is accredited by the Commission for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (CTVET) and offers qualifications ranging from Advanced Diplomas to National and Higher National Diplomas in Fashion Design Technology. These certifications are internationally recognized, making graduates well-prepared for global opportunities like those offered by Manpower.

In addition to recruitment, Manpower S.R.L. expressed interest in partnering with Marshalls Fashion School for a long-term, sustainable supply of skilled fashion professionals. This collaboration presents an exciting opportunity for Marshalls Fashion School students to gain international exposure and build careers in the European fashion industry.

ABOUT MANPOWER S.R.L. AND ROMANIA

Manpower S.R.L. operates across various sectors in Romania, including the fashion industry. The company’s recruitment efforts focus on providing a steady flow of skilled professionals to meet Romania’s growing demand for craftsmanship in fashion and textiles. Romania itself is a member of the European Union (EU), offering numerous opportunities for individuals working within its borders to access European markets and industries.

BENEFITS OF COMPETENCE-BASED TESTING (CBT)

Competence-Based Testing ensures that students are evaluated on practical skills and abilities relevant to their field. This testing method prepares students for real-world challenges, making them more employable. For instance, in Romania’s growing fashion sector, where skilled craftsmanship is in demand, CBT ensures that Marshalls Fashion School graduates are well-equipped for roles in high-demand areas like garment construction and fashion design. This, in turn, supports national development by fostering a workforce that can meet industry standards both locally and internationally.

This partnership with Manpower represents a unique opportunity for Marshalls Fashion School to expand its influence in the global fashion industry, and its students to be part of a workforce that is both locally relevant and globally competitive.

Conclusion The collaboration between Marshalls Fashion School and Manpower JSC & S.R.L. when it is fully materialised would mark a significant step towards fostering international opportunities for fashion students. With internationally recognized qualifications and exposure to global markets, Marshalls’ Fashion students are poised to excel in the fashion industry worldwide.
