The Advanced Diploma in Fashion Technology at Marshalls is designed for creative individuals who want to turn their passion for fashion, styling, and accessory design into a professional career. This program blends design creativity, technical precision, and business acumen, giving students the complete toolkit needed to thrive in today’s fashion industry.

Over two and a half years, students learn to conceptualize, design, and produce garments and dressing accessories that meet global standards. The program covers pattern drafting, garment construction, computer-aided design (CAD), product development, and fashion entrepreneurship, alongside accessory design.

You’ll also explore the art of creating bags, hats, jewelry, belts, and other dressing accessories, developing the technical and creative skills that bring full fashion collections to life. By combining apparel and accessory design, this diploma offers a comprehensive understanding of fashion styling, coordination, and product integration, preparing you to work confidently across the entire fashion value chain.

The curriculum follows international fashion education standards while reflecting local textile traditions, sustainability practices, and African creativity — producing graduates ready to compete both locally and globally.
