Dr. Adjei’s contribution to the growth and establishment of both Meridian Pre-University and Marshalls University College is unmatched. As the first Finance Director of these institutions, he demonstrated outstanding leadership and financial ingenuity. Under his stewardship, Meridian and Marshalls were strategically merged, at the business level, to form Meridian-Marshalls Holdings (MMH) — the very first educational institution to be listed on the Ghana Stock Exchange. This remarkable feat placed Marshalls at the forefront of financial innovation in Ghana’s tertiary education sector and set a precedent for others to follow.

To achieve this listing, Dr. Adjei navigated an intricate and highly regulated financial landscape. He successfully worked with Cal Brokers Ltd., the Deal Managers, and engaged key stakeholders such as the Ghana Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), the Ghana Stock Exchange, the Ghana Securities Depository, and institutional shareholders. His ability to foster stakeholder confidence and compliance with the complex processes of public listing is a testament to his strategic acumen and depth of knowledge in finance and governance.

Currently, Dr. Adjei continues to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of tertiary education in Ghana as a distinguished Board Member of Meridian-Marshalls Holdings (MMH) — the parent company of both Meridian Pre-University and Marshalls University College.

His academic background is equally outstanding. He holds an MSc. Strategic Project Management (Distinction) from Heriot-Watt University (UK), Politecnico di Milano (Italy), and Umea University (Sweden). He has a BSc. Admin. (First Class Honors) and Membership in ACCA-UK, ICA-Ghana, and IIA-Ghana and has acquired significant professional certifications and affiliations in finance, investment, and corporate governance. His latest academic triumph with the PhD award crowns a long-standing commitment to continuous professional development.

Dr. Adjei is known for his humility, ethical leadership, deep analytical thinking, and unwavering commitment to excellence. He continues to inspire our current generation of students and young professionals, proving that success is built on a foundation of integrity, vision, and relentless pursuit of one’s goals.

He has consulted on various financial management services for clients such as the Government of Ghana, the Government of Sudan, The World Bank, African Development Bank, GiZ, European Union, UN, Danida, Netherlands Embassy, USAID, Millennium Challenge Account, The Global Fund, and private companies, including Banks and other financial Institutions. He has also travelled and worked extensively in his professional career in countries such as the USA, the UK, Nigeria, Kenya, Liberia, Mali, Guinea, Sudan, etc.
