
52 PROFESSIONALS FROM SECURITY, EDUCATION, HEALTHCARE, AND GOVERNANCE SECTORS GRADUATE FROM CUTTING-EDGE SHORT ONLINE COURSES

In a proud and progressive stride towards academic excellence and national development, Marshalls University College held a blended graduation ceremony for its first cohort of students from the Professional & Executive Certification Programmes. While the intensive coursework was conducted entirely online, the grand graduation was celebrated both in-person and virtually—bringing together a powerful network of leaders from across Ghana and beyond.

The four specialised certification tracks offered were:
- Security and Intelligence
- Educational Leadership and Strategy
- Local Governance and Strategy and,
- Healthcare
Each certification is built with components drawn from Master’s-level curricula, ensuring that participants received a rigorous, forward-looking, and high-value academic experience. These programmes were designed to bridge knowledge gaps for working professionals, positioning them as thought leaders and change-makers within their sectors.
IMPACTFUL PARTICIPATION FROM KEY NATIONAL INSTITUTIONS
Among the over 50 graduates were highly placed professionals from Ghana’s public and private institutions:
Francisca Caphui Gbodui and Fredrick Oppong, both from the National Identification Authority, are now equipped with strategic intelligence tools critical to protecting citizen data and reinforcing national identity systems.
Chief Inspectors Imoro Mohammed and Diana Quainoo of the Ghana Police Service graduated with enhanced skills in national security intelligence—skills that will directly support Ghana’s internal security and public safety operations.
Emmanuel Ayensu of NADMO is now better positioned to integrate intelligence-led disaster management strategies across the country.
Franklin Dzormeku Dacosta, a Lecturer at Cape Coast Technical University, has gained an security-sector advantage with his advanced understanding in security and intelligence to apply to education.
Salisu Sheriff Mohammed from the Flagstaff House brings security policy insight to the seat of Ghana’s executive power.
George Kwabina Adomako, a Fire Service Personnel from Belgium, will translate his new expertise in security and intelligence into international fire prevention and emergency management systems.
ELEVATING CREDENTIALS, EXPANDING OPPORTUNITIES
Marshalls University College is already looking ahead. Plans are underway to launch a Postgraduate Certificate in Security and Intelligence, designed to serve as a seamless transition into the full Master’s in Security and Intelligence programme. This move offers professionals a structured pathway to deepen their academic and practical engagement with national and global security affairs.
