Marshalls University College, under the visionary leadership of its Founder and President, Dr. Tetteh Nettey, proudly participated in the Ghana Diaspora Investment Forum (GDIF) 2025, held at the Kempinski Hotel Gold Coast City, Accra. This high-level event, organised in partnership with the Canadian High Commission, Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ), Fidelity Bank, and the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), brought together a powerful network of policy shapers, development finance institutions, investors, and international agencies committed to Ghana’s diaspora investment agenda.

STRATEGIC PURPOSE OF THE FORUM

Held as a curtain-raiser to the Africa Impact Summit, the forum sought to:

i. Recognise and promote the critical role of the diaspora in national development.

ii. Enable discussions on innovative investment instruments tailored for the diaspora.

iii. Encourage reforms that create a diaspora-friendly regulatory climate.

iv. Facilitate connections between diaspora investors and local institutions.

MARSHALLS’ PARTICIPATION AND STRATEGIC POSITIONING

Represented by Dr. Tetteh Nettey, Marshalls University College’s active participation highlights its increasing prominence as a globally connected, innovation-driven tertiary institution. Our involvement at GDIF 2025 is a strong statement of Marshalls’ commitment to contributing to national economic growth, youth empowerment, and Africa’s transformation through education, enterprise, and diaspora partnerships.

This invitation was made possible through Marshalls’ existing relationship with GIZ Ghana, particularly via the impactful collaboration with Ms. Bernice Adu, a Lafayette fashion expert and strategic partner with Marshalls Fashion School under the EU-Germany-Ghana Joint Action initiative.
