Dr. Imane Fassahy is a visionary and accomplished chartered insurer whose leadership and professional excellence have left an indelible mark on Ghana’s insurance landscape.

With over 17 years of progressive experience spanning life and non-life insurance, strategic policy development, and institutional transformation, she combines deep technical expertise with an unyielding commitment to national development.

Throughout her distinguished career at SIC Life Insurance Company, Dr. Fassahy has served in several senior management capacities — including Branch Head, Head of Corporate and Group Business, Deputy Head of Actuarial, and Area Manager — where she led transformative initiatives that positioned the institution as an industry leader and contributed to its induction into the Chartered Institute of Marketing Ghana (CIMG) Hall of Fame.

Her leadership has consistently delivered growth, innovation, and stability, driving impactful change across operations, stakeholder engagement, and policy advocacy.

Dr. Fassahy holds a Doctor of Business Administration and a Master of Applied Research from the Swiss Business School, a Master of Science in Actuarial Science, and an MBA from the University of Ghana. A Chartered Insurer (ACII – UK), she is also a member of the Institute of Directors–Ghana and the Executive Women Network.
